A Week Full of Paranormal

It's almost here! I'm headed to the Authors After Dark conference in Philly with my Wonder Twin, aka The Wizard, Berinn Rae. Workshop after workshop full of nothing but paranormal and Urban Fantasy talk. Oh, yeah!

Some of my very favorite authors will be in attendance and I can't wait to meet them and ultimately pick their brains! Hopefully I'll be so stealth they won't even know it's happening.

Lately, I've really been getting into making mock covers for my work and I'm dabbling with the idea of taking it a step further. So if you know anyone who is looking for a book cover, feel free to throw my hat in the ring. Another benefit to attending this conference are the workshops on book covers. Yes! This conference is just what I need right now. More on my book cover endeavor soon!

    I'm looking at your photo, with the lush red roses as a background, and I thought of the fairy tale Snow White and Rose Red.:)

    What's new is Jersey Boys. Today! And in a few weeks, I'll be putting out a paranormal anthology with 11 other writers, all the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.

    I love a good fairy tale. Especially those with dark twists!

    I'm jealous. I would love to see Jersey Boys. Have a great time! And I really like what you and those other 11 writers are doing. What a great cause! Please let me know when it's released.

  4. We'll see, Mary Jo! I also get the added benefit of seeing one of my sisters. She lives in Jersey, so I'm hoping she can pop over so I can drag her and the Wizard to South Street.

    Although most of the authors I know have their covers designed through their publisher, I've mentioned your cover designs to a couple of Indie writers. And, if you want, I'll post your link on fb and my blog. Let me know.

  11. Hey, Mac! Actually, I'm all about photography. I love the process of the capture, the edit and the manipulation of photos. I'll definitely start posting some! And Alyson is right...Wicked cool website!
